Your Purpose

Updated: Apr 28

You aren't on Earth by accident.

You have a purpose. You may be thinking, "Who me? Who am I? What do I have to offer? What is my purpose?" You might be wondering, What does the Bible say about your purpose? Well, the answer is beautifully personal. The Bible teaches that each of us is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). That means your purpose is as unique as your fingerprint.

In Ephesians 2:10, it says, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” This verse tells me that my purpose isn’t just about me—it’s about the good I can bring into the world. God has already prepared good works for me to do, and He invites me to step into them.

Sometimes, I think we get caught up trying to compare ourselves to others or fit into a mold that doesn’t quite fit. But the Bible encourages us to embrace our individuality. Your purpose might look different from mine, and that’s perfectly okay. What matters is that you walk in the path God has set for you, trusting that He will equip you along the way.

Your purpose is not about perfection. It’s about faithfulness. Purpose unfolds over time. Trust that God’s timing is perfect, even when you feel uncertain. Your worth is not tied to your achievements but to God’s love for you.

No matter who we are, compared to God's infinite greatness, we have nothing to offer apart from Hm. Don't believe me? Without God, you would not even take your next breath. All we have is a gift from Him. In His kindness, God called us to be His for time and eternity.

God created you for a purpose.

Your reason to live goes far beyond this life. You were created for eternity. You have a high calling ~ a destiny beyond anything you can imagine. You have a mission no one else can fulfil. You will touch lives in ways no one else can. You have been called to follow God ~ to walk in His ways ~ to shine His light wherever you go. Your acts of kindness, love, and compassion reflect God's love and give others a glimpse of His beauty.

God didn't call you to join a religion. He called you to a relationship ~ to be a beloved part of His eternal family.

No one else can take your place. You have an incredibly high calling. Think about it ~ you have been invited to be adopted into the royal family of the KING of kings and LORD of lords. Don't lose sight of that. It's beyond amazing.

So, no matter who you are ~ no matter your age, your health, your financial situation ~ you are precious to God. I encourage you to ask Him to help you love Him with all your heart, soul, and mind ~ and to love others as you love yourself. Ask Him to lead you by His Spirit to fulfil His purposes for your life. May His love pour through you .

You are precious to the One who created the stars and calls them by name. How incredible.

He loves you with an everlasting love. I pray all God's beautiful purposes for your life will be fulfilled. Isn't it amazing to know you are deeply loved by God?

Blessings, beloved of God.
