Would you like to be healed?

My friend, would you like to get well?
You might think the answer would be obvious. Of course you want to be healed—right? It’s a question Jesus asked a man who had been sick for thirty-eight years. But Jesus knew something deeper. Healing isn’t always simple. It requires something of us: a willingness to be changed, to let go of what we’ve grown used to, even if it hurts. It requires hope. It requires trust.
So let me ask you the same question today: Would you like to get well?
I don’t just mean just physically—though God can do that too. I’m talking about healing in your spirit, your mind, and your body. The kind of healing that reaches into the hidden places… the memories, the wounds, the lies we’ve believed about ourselves for far too long.
You might be thinking, Of course I want to be healed. Who wouldn’t? But healing is a process. And it’s not always easy.
Sometimes, we’ve carried pain for so long it’s hard to imagine life without it. We may have built walls around our hearts, convinced ourselves that survival is enough. But Jesus didn’t come just so we could survive. He came so we could be free. Whole. Restored. Alive.
We get used to surviving. We build walls around our hearts. We learn to numb the pain, bury the grief, or pretend it doesn’t matter. But Jesus didn’t come just so we could get by. He came so we could be free—truly free (John 8:36). Whole. Restored. Alive.

Healing begins when we invite God into our brokenness. When we say, Lord, I can’t fix this. I need You to do what only You can do.
We can trust Him.
Because “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18).
Because “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3).
Because “With God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26).
Sometimes healing starts with tears. Sometimes it might begin with one small act of courage: opening your heart in prayer, reaching out to someone you trust, asking for prayer, writing in a journal, or opening your Bible when it’s the last thing you feel like doing. True healing touches every part of us.
Spirit—where we reconnect with God and remember who we really are.
Mind—where old lies lose their grip and truth begins to take root.
Body—where we learn to care for ourselves as temples of the Holy Spirit, created with purpose and value.
It’s a journey. There may be setbacks. But God is so patient. He never tires of walking with us, even when we limp.
If you’re weary, know this: God sees you. He hasn’t forgotten you. And no matter how long you’ve been waiting, it’s never too late to begin again.
You don’t have to walk this road alone. Healing is possible—and it starts with saying yes.

This is my prayer for you: LORD, I pray the person reading this right now will trust You for freedom from past hurts. I pray they will walk in freedom from debilitating lies. LORD, You are the only One in all the Universe who can fix us and make us whole. I believe when we trust You, miracles can happen. I have faith and trust in You. Please help my friend reading this now, to find greater health spirit, soul, and body. Amen.
