Celebrating the Gift of Motherhood

Before the foundations of the Earth, before God breathed life into Adam, He knew who your mother would be. He gave her the ability to carry you for months in the womb and nurture you after birth. Hopefully, she nurtured you with love, kindness, and compassion.
The Strength of Sacrifice
Some mothers have faced the hardest decisions of their lives. It takes an incredible amount of strength to recognize that "loving someone enough to let them go" isn't just a cliché—it’s a profound act of sacrifice. Some mothers face this ultimate sacrifice: knowing that to truly love their child is to give them a life they cannot provide themselves. It is a quiet, world-shaking kind of courage.
I am thankful for these women. Their strength turns an impossible choice into a beautiful beginning for their child. They chose life, they chose hope, and they chose the best for their child at the highest personal cost. I know this beauty firsthand because I see it in my husband every day. We recently found the woman who made that choice for him—she is precious, and we are profoundly grateful for the life she made possible.
The Other Mothers in Our Lives
Sometimes, there are "mothers" in our lives who didn't carry us in the womb but carry us in their hearts. I have had an assortment of "mothers" as I lived in many homes while growing up. Mom Morgan was special. I look forward to meeting her in Heaven one day (she's already there).
She made me Kool-Aid and jello when I was six, baked me a birthday cake, nursed me when I had the measles, and refused to let me go out for Halloween because she said it wasn't safe. Instead, she made my night special with a movie and a bowl of treats. Small things are huge to children. Mothers, your children will remember even the little things you do. The love and encouragement you provide mean more than you could imagine.
A Life Changed by Love
My precious aunt rescued me when I was fourteen. She was the best auntie-mom anyone could ever hope for. Our story is in my book, A Life Set Free.
God gave me the privilege of being a mother to four amazing children and a wonderful step-son. If your mother is alive, I hope you tell her you love her. Please forgive her mistakes. She's only human. Remember the cool things she did for you. Dwell on the beautiful things. Maybe she made you jello?

Cherishing the Journey of Motherhood
Mommy & Baby’s Journal is a special keepsake for moms to write about their precious unborn babies. This journal provides information about the baby's monthly development. People from all over the world contributed comments and prayers for mom and her unborn child. This will be a cherished keepsake of mom's thoughts and prayers for her baby while God formed them in the womb. If there's an expectant mother in your life, consider gifting her a Mommy & Baby's Journal.

A very deep & uplifting tribute to all 'mothers'.
I had two mothers: a birth mom and an adopted mom. God knew best, and I'm grateful that they were in my life.
Beautiful Rena...thank you!
