Mothers

Updated: May 11

Before the foundations of the Earth, before God breathed life into Adam, He knew who your mother would be. He gave her the ability to carry you for months in the womb and nurture you after birth. Hopefully, she nurtured you with love, kindness, and compassion. But... sometimes, there are "mothers" in our lives who didn't carry us in the womb but carry us in their hearts.
I have had many "mothers", as I lived in many homes as I grew up. Mom Morgan was special. I look forward to meeting her in Heaven one day (she's already there). She made me Koolaid and jello when I was six, baked me a birthday cake, nursed me when I had the measles, refused to let me go out for Halloween because she said it wasn't safe, but made my night special with a movie and a bowl of treats. Small things are so huge to children. Mothers, your children will remember even the little things you do. Mothers, the love and encouragement you provide means more than you could imagine.
My precious aunt rescued me when I was fourteen. She was the best auntie-mom anyone could ever hope for. The story is in my book, A Life Set Free
God gave me the privilege of being a mother. I have four amazing children. Don't all moms think their children are amazing? Being a mother has been the most challenging thing I have ever done ~ yet, it has been the most rewarding. If you are a mother you understand that statement. If your mother is alive, I hope you tell her you love her. Please forgive her mistakes. She's only human. Remember the cool things she has done for you. Dwell on the beautiful things. Maybe she made you jello?
If there's an expectant mom in your life, consider gifting her a Mommy & Baby's Journal

This special keepsake is for mom to write about her precious unborn baby and will give her information about her baby's monthly development. People from all over the world have contributed comments and prayers for mom and her unborn child. This will be a cherished keepsake of mom's thoughts and prayers for her baby while God formed them in the womb.

I have a special Mother's Day gift for you. If you aren't a mom feel free to send the link to a lady you want to bless! Please go to renaoord@gmail.com, find the Courses page, and sign up for free for the Strong and Courageous mini Course! Blessings, Beloved of God.
