God Understands

Updated: Jun 19

God understands us more than we understand ourselves. “For He knows we are but dust and that our days are few and brief, like grass, like flowers, blown away by the wind and gone forever.” Psalm 103:14-16 He understands our pain, sorrows, betrayal, and rejection. Our Heavenly Father sees all the suffering because He sees all the sin in the world. Our suffering can be crushing—but we don’t have to go through it alone. If we belong to God we have the Holy Spirit living inside us. He never intended for us to walk alone. He wants us to walk with Him. Even in our saddest and darkest moments, He will be with us. "A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." Proverbs 18:24 This is not the final chapter of our lives. We were made for eternity. Don’t give up hope now. This life is just for a moment. It is a vapour—a shadow that will soon pass. God will help you be strong and stand if you ask Him to. His lovingkindness is everlasting. I encourage you to read His Word—meditate on it—allow it to transform your heart and mind. "And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Romans 12:2

God never promised life would be easy but the good news is God is our refuge and our strength. He is an ever-present help in trouble. He wants us to love and glorify Him—to trust Him. Whatever you are going through, God understands. I love this verse. “The present sufferings of this time are not worthy to be compared to the glory that shall be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18 Heaven is just a heartbeat away. One day, maybe soon, you will be welcomed home. He loves you. Even if you can’t feel His Presence—He is there. Don't give up! He has so much beauty, love, peace and joy waiting for you—if your heart is His. Trust Him. God understands. I pray you will be “...strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 "...Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him." 1 Corinthians 2:9 Blessings, Beloved of God.
