Many of us carry deep wounds and scars from our past. Those who were meant to love and protect us may have failed us, leaving us with memories of pain instead of safety, hardship instead of comfort, and betrayal instead of trust. As a result, we may struggle with feelings of unworthiness, self-doubt, or even self-hatred. But those thoughts and feelings are lies from the enemy of our soul. In reality, our past does not define us! Don’t be imprisoned by the lies. It is not too late for you. God can take what looks broken to the world and make us His beautiful, precious children. Your past does not disqualify you. When you give your life to Jesus, His love can redeem and restore anything from your past that causes you shame or pain.
When you belong to God you are accepted, cherished, and righteous in Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, "He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him." His grace empowers you to walk by faith and frees you from the chains of your past. Let God heal your heart and transform your life. The lie that God can’t use you because of your past is nonsense. Just look at the Chapmans. Steven Curtis Chapman’s son, Will, carried the pain of accidentally causing his sister Maria’s death, but through God’s grace, he found healing and peace. Will’s story is a testament to the strength of faith and the healing power of the love of God.

Don’t let the enemy discount what God can do in your life. He can do immeasurably more than you can ask or think. Surrender all your feelings of unworthiness to Him. Ask Him to lead you. Then, one beautiful day, He will be able to say to you, "Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things; I will make you ruler over many things: enter into the joy of your Lord." Matthew 25:21 I pray God blesses and heals you from your past in every way ~ emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. You are more than your past! Blessings, Beloved of God.
