All That Really Matters

Updated: Sep 12

One day, maybe soon, you will take your last breath.

You don't know when that day will be. Then what? Are you gone forever? I don't think you believe that. "He (God) has set eternity in the human heart." (Ecclesiastes 3:11) Your last moment on Earth will be your first moment in your forever life.

Where will you be for all eternity?

Once you take your last breath on Earth, your eternal destination is irrevocably, unchangeably, forever sealed.

Your eternal home is totally dependent on your choice now. According to the Bible, Heaven or Hell are the only options. Hell is called the second death—a dark, wretched place of eternal separation from God and all that is beautiful...the opposite of Heaven.

None of us deserves Heaven — we can’t earn it or work our way there.

We can never be good enough. “As it is written: ‘There is none righteous, no, not one.’” (Romans 3:10) We are all sinners, and the wages of sin is death. Jesus died in our place and paid our debt so we could escape the wrath to come. Isn’t that amazing? He did it for you… for all of us. It’s a free gift — the most costly and precious gift you will ever be offered.

How do you find eternal life?

Ask God to forgive you. "Unless you repent, you will likewise perish." (Luke 13:3)

Believe Jesus is LORD...and thank Him for His free gift of eternal life. "... if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9,10)

God loves you more than you can ever imagine. Jesus, the precious Son of God, gave His life so you could live with Him forever. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)

What will you do with Jesus' offer?

This is the most important question you will ever answer. Be wise. Your answer will determine where you spend eternity. What did you do with God’s offer? Ultimately, that is all that really matters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POU7foVgTpc

Blessings, Beloved of God.
